Authentic Teas lists the ingredients of this tea as including organic wild Armenian chrysanthemum, organic wild mint and organic wild cherry leaves. I made this tea in my Breville One-Touch Tea Maker with 212 degree water for five minutes. The dry leaves had a slightly fuzzy, green appearance with yellow chrysanthemum petals mixed in . The liquor was bright gold in color.
I was expecting really bold flavor from this herbal blend but it was actually very mellow. The dominant flavor was mild mint with just a touch of sweetness, presumably from the cherry leaves. I can see myself reaching for this when tummy trouble calls for a mint based tea but as a daily drinker I’d want something with a bit more oomph. Otherwise this is a very nice tea and I would definitely recommend it.
