Sen no Rikyu: The Greatest Tea Master

Ricardo from My Japanese Green Tea profiled Sen no Rikyu. He is the man largely responsible for codifying the Japanese tea ceremony. It is amazing to think that he has had such an impact on something we still practice today.

I was so excited when I saw that DAVIDsTEA started carrying white tea from one of my favorite tea estates in Malawi. This week Connie from Tea in Spoons shared her thoughtful review. Reading this made me want to go pick some up.

Heather from Hanamichi attended a Chinese New Year celebration at Floating Leaves in Seattle. Their tea and auspicious food pairings all sound delicious. The pig cookies from Yana’s Baking are beyond adorable!
