This tea was light and vegetal with subtle nutty notes. The leaves had a very fresh aroma and there was hardly any astringency. As far as bagged green teas go, this one was above average. I don’t think it would stand up well to sweeteners but it wasn’t bad at all. I have tried the Spring Mint from this company and it was ok but nothing all that great. I like this plain version much better because I was actually able to taste the base tea. Another thing I really liked is that the tea is organic and their paper teabags are non-chemical bleached. That’s important because I definitely don’t want insecticides or bleach in my tea!
