Celestial Seasonings Perfectly Pear White Tea

Celestial Seasonings Perfectly Pear White Tea
Celestial Seasonings Perfectly Pear White Tea 1

Country of Origin: China
Leaf Appearance: mixed green and browns, very fine leaf particles
Ingredients: White tea and natural pear and vanilla flavors (contains soy lecithin)
Steep time: 2 minutes
Water Temperature: 185 degrees
Preparation Method: ceramic mug
Liquor: bright, brassy yellow

Gasp! A tea bag, how could I? Every type of tea has its place and the convenience factor leads me to stray from my beloved loose leaf from time to time. This tea was packaged in a thin, papery tea bag. It was delicate, light and sweet. Somewhat floral and vaguely vegetal, it was a very mellow cup overall. The flavoring was faint but was just enough to add some interest to what otherwise by a flat flavor profile. The pear complimented the dryness of the white tea nicely and the vanilla came through as a lingering aftertaste. I would definitely recommend this tea. In fact, the rest of this box is making its way to my desk at work tomorrow.
