My work in tea has led to exploring many other adjacent topics. The science of scent is one that I have found particularly fascinating since there is a lot of crossover with the aroma compounds found in both tea and perfume. I became a bit obsessed with the idea of being able to smell like tea. In this post, I’ll be sharing 6 different tea perfumes I have in my collection that will help you smell amazing.

Table of Contents
  • Elizabeth Arden Green Tea
  • Dossier Citrus Tea
  • Dossier Musky Green Tea
  • Korres White Tea
  • Le Monde Gourmand Thé Matcha
  • Thin Wild Mercury Chelsea Staircase

Elizabeth Arden Green Tea

Elizabeth Arden Green Tea - 6 Tea Perfumes to Help You Smell Amazing

Elizabeth Arden Green Tea is a perfume I’ve loved for a long time. Its aroma is light and fresh with notes of bergamot, lemon, and green tea. It doesn’t tend to last very long, so I’ll often use it to freshen up when I get home from work. I was lucky enough to get to collaborate with Elizabeth Arden for a tea and perfume pairing event last year. I paired a jasmine pearl green tea with this scent.

Dossier Citrus Tea

Dossier Citrus Tea - 6 Tea Perfumes to Help You Smell Amazing

A few years ago, I did an Instagram collaboration with Dossier. They sent me two of their tea perfumes, and this one was my favorite. Dossier Citrus Tea is inspired by Le Labo Thé Noir. It is reminiscent of Earl Grey tea with notes of bergamot, fig, and black tea. This perfume always gets compliments whenever I wear it.

Dossier Musky Green Tea

The other perfume they sent to me was Dossier Musky Green Tea. It is inspired by Creed Silver Mountain Water. It is refreshing with notes of green tea, bergamot, and mandarin. The scent is on the subtle side, so I like to use it in situations where I don’t want my perfume to be disruptive to others.

Korres White Tea

I discovered Korres White Tea while on a tour with Scents & Sips NYC. It stopped me in my tracks because it really does smell like a floral white tea. I purchased a bottle as a birthday present to myself and it has quickly become one of my favorite tea perfumes. There are notes of bergamot, neroli, and mandarin. This brand is known for their clean beauty products with ingredients sourced from Greece.

Le Monde Gourmand Thé Matcha

Le Monde Gourmand Thé Matcha was an impulse purchase because it kept popping up in my Pinterest feed. I was pleasantly surpised to find that this perfume really does remind me of matcha. It has notes of green tea, freesia, and amber. It’s not a very heavy scent, but it lasts a long time on my skin.

Thin Wild Mercury Chelsea Staircase

Thin Wild Mercury Chelsea Staircase came in a sampler set I purchased. It has notes of lemon and Earl Grey tea., and antique wrought iron. It’s part of a collection of New York City scents, with this one being an ode to The Chelsea Hotel. It lasts forever! I’ll still smell it on my clothing the next day.

These are all tea perfumes that I own and use on a regular rotation. I’m always on the lookout for more. Do you have any favorite tea perfumes? Let me know which ones I should add to my collection in the comments below!
