Tea for Me Please X Hi Goose Studio

Tea for Me Please X Hi Goose Studio

I’ve never really considered selling tea for a variety of reasons, but that has changed recently. I’ve shared a bit about this new development on social media and in my email newsletter. It’s time for an official update here on the blog. I’ve set up shop, and NJ tea lovers are in for a treat!

About Hi Goose Studio

I first met my friend Amber from Hi Goose Studio because I was a frequent customer of her lovingly curated vintage and second-hand store. Recently, she approached me about joining forces. It has been one of my goals to share tea with my local community more. Hi Goose Studio will be a great place for me to do exactly that.

Address: 188 Avenue B, Bayonne, NJ 07002

Hours: Pop-ups as announced and posted

Website: https://higoosevintage.com/

Specialty: Curated vintage clothes + teas and tea accessories

Street parking. Accessible by public transit from NYC. Take the PATH from Hoboken or Jersey City. Busses also available from Journal Square.

Hi Goose Studio is typically open for shopping 1-2 weekends a month, but we’ll be working to make that more frequent in the future. One of the things that drew me in as a customer was the sense of community. I’ve met so many wonderful people just by shopping or attending one of Amber’s events. Needless to say, I’m really excited to be a part of the studio. The pictures below are just some of my favorite outfits I’ve purchased there.

What You Can Expect

Here’s just some of what you can expect from me at Hi Goose Studio in the months to come:

Tea for Me Please X Hi Goose Studio 3
  • Copies of The Tea Recipe Book
  • A small rotating selection of some of my favorite specialty teas from all over the world
  • Vintage teaware
  • Tea accessories
  • Matcha from Mizuba Tea Co., along with bamboo chasen and chashaku
  • Tea for Me Please stickers and pins
  • Tea classes and workshops

Last weekend was the official launch of our collaboration. Amber brought Turkish delights from her recent travels to Istanbul, and I poured cups of Kumari Gold from Nepal Tea Collective. They paired together perfectly, just like tea and vintage shopping! It was heart-warming to have people join us despite the chilly weather and Super Bowl festivities.
