Friday Roundup: March 29th – April 4th

The Friday Roundup is a weekly collection of five of my favorite blog posts from around the world. It’s my little way of getting the word out about all of my favorite tea blogs. Is there someone I’m missing? Let me know about it in the comments below!

2020,Spring tea harvest .

The 2020 harvest has been on the minds of many tea drinkers. Cindy Chen has a unique perspective as her family makes tea in both Wuyi and the Phoenix Mountains. I love Cindy’s explanation of why early spring isn’t always the best time to pick tea.

How My Tastes Have Changed & Settled

Our relationship with tea has been called a journey for good reason. It evolves with us over time. This week James from TeaDB contemplated how his tastes have changed since starting TeaDB. This blog is pretty accurate documentation of my own tea adventures.

Tea Meditation for Beginners

Being stuck at home has led a lot of folks to explore meditation and other mindfulness techniques. Lu Ann from The Cup of Life put together a great beginner’s guide to using tea for this purpose. Even if you aren’t taking it from a spiritual perspective, this is a great way to savor every sip.

Drinking ALL My White Teas at Once

Some people drink white tea. Others drink all of their white tea at the same time. Only Char from Oolong Owl would attempt something like this. These tasting notes are nothing short of INTENSE. Dollar store crossword puzzles are not the aromas I was expecting but I can almost imagine it.

Review: The Wall Tea Infuser

Working from home has me drinking tea a lot more casually than I usually do. One of the teaware pieces I’ve been using the most is The Wall. It has made it so easy to make tea grandpa style. Add leaves and hot water, rinse, repeat. Ash from Ash loves tea shared her review of this innovative mug.
