High Mountain Oolong Ali Bear from Tea Bento
Tea Chronicles shared a beautifully photographed review of a high mountain oolong from a company that I’ve become a big fan of. Their vivid descriptions and short, but sweet review style are something that I really appreciate. I suddenly found myself craving a good Jin Xuan after reading this one.
Xavier at Teaconomics wrote a thought provoking post about the trope that is the adventurer traveling the wilds to source their tea. This is an image that is assumed and exploited by many in the tea industry. It is a story that is hard not to buy into, even for those of us who have been around for a while.
Lili at My Thoughts are Like Butterflies recently moved and this week she unveiled her brand new tea lair. The built in light box is something every tea blogger needs! I’d love to have a dedicated tea space like this someday. For now, I’ll settle for the new bookcase that I have coming next week.
2018 Secret Forest Wild White Tea from Essence of Tea
I have been on a huge white tea kick lately and Char from Oolong Owl’s post almost made me hit the order button. A tea that tastes like fruity floral candy sounds like something I need in my life. Those leaves look really beautiful too. As always, I really enjoy her thorough review style (with a whimsical sprinkling of owls).
2008 Dayi Qui Xiang & Thoughts on Strong Puerh
Tea bloggers often write about tastes or aromas but I really enjoy reading the experience of a puerh specialist like Matt over at MattCha. The physical feelings that a tea imparts can be just as important and he does a great job of reporting those. I just noticed that Matt started his blog the same year as I started Tea for Me Please. Happy 10 years!
