HELPS Teas Organic R&R

Ingredients: organic lemon balm and organic passion flower
Steep time: 5 minutes
Water Temperature: 212 degrees
Preparation Method: ceramic mug
Liquor: deep gold

I was hesitant to write this review because I usually try to be as positive as possible. I really can’t sugar coat it though, this tea was simply awful. It was very bland but had an odd sour aftertaste that rendered it barely drinkable. Just because a tea has a potential medicinal use does not mean that it can’t taste good too. A lot of companies forget that when making a "health" blend. If I need to relax, I'd just as soon brew up some catnip or chamomile. I would not recommend this tea.

  1. I started writing a comment but it got so big that it turned into a whole follow-up blog post about Helps teas and the quality of herbs in general. Thanks for saying it the way it is...I have similar opinions about all of this company's teas that I've tried so far.
