The Friday Roundup is a weekly collection of five of my favorite blog posts from around the world. It’s my little way of getting the word out about all of my favorite tea blogs. Is there someone I’m missing? Let me know about it in the comments below!
The ABC’s of Tea is a new-to-me blog that I discovered when I met the author, Judi, at the Chicago Tea Festival. This week she shared a great post exploring one of my favorite Chinese green teas. The history behind this unusual cultivar is really fascinating.
Speaking of Chicago, Rachel from iHeartTeas shared her write up about the tea festival. The two of us getting called “Beyoncé’s of tea” was a memorable moment that I forgot to include in my own post. I’m looking forward to sharing adventures there with her next year.
Revisiting Castleton Moonlight
Geoff from Steep Stories revisited a tea that I have heard him wax poetic about for years. He tasted a white tea version and a standard 1st flush version side by side. Reading this post made me want to get my hands on some. It’s been a while since I’ve dug into some Castleton!
Afternoon Tea at the Four Seasons Hotel New York
I was excited to see a new afternoon tea review from Jee at Oh, How Civilized pop up in my feed. She has a fair but critical eye for all of the important details. The tea menu might be small but it sounds like the cream puff might have made up for it.
Diary of a Northern Teaist reviewed their new tea kettle. They covered a lot of different aspects that a serious tea drinker might want to know. I was excited about this one because I am a Fellow evangelist. I have a Corvo EKG and it is the best kettle I’ve ever owned.
