In this video, I’m sharing all about my visit to Takayama Chikurinen, a bamboo museum and garden located in Nara, Japan. They offer free public chasen-making demonstrations on Sundays. It was amazing to see these artisans craft a chasen (the whisk used to make matcha green tea) from a single piece of bamboo.
