I first enjoyed this tea at A Gift of Tea’s Spring White Tea. I’m not usually a fan of flavored white teas but it really struck a chord with me. The taste was delicate and refreshing with an almost creamy finish. The white tea base was vegetal and somewhat floral while the peppermint provided a cooling aftertaste. Lemongrass and lemon myrtle added a hint of citrus zing. I have a feeling that this would be a really great iced tea. +The Devotea‘s blends are always artfully balanced and White Nights was no exception. I would not recommend adding a sweetener of any kind because it would all but cover up the taste of the tea. I love that The Devotea’s site lists suggested food pairings for the their teas. The downside is that I am now craving chocolate to go with my tea.
