    Tea DIY: Iced Chai Latte

    I’m a complete chai addict but once the warm weather arrives I just can’t bring myself to drink it hot. I was craving that spicy, sweet flavor so I decided to try making my own iced chai latte. My boyfriend is also a chai worshiper and he gave this recipe a big thumbs up. I used Yogic Chai Original Masala Chai Pouches but you can easily substitute teaspoons of loose leaf instead. I like to use mason jars for this because you can use them for mixing and drinking.     Boozy Tea: Red, White and Blue Tea Sangria

    My Golden Monkey Black Tea Sangria went over pretty well so I thought that I would try a white wine version now that summer is in full swing. These recipes are great because they are so flexible. A red, white and blue theme struck me as perfect to celebrate the 4th of July with. I think it turned out pretty refreshing. Next time, I think I’ll try a sparkling wine for a little bit of extra kick.     Matcha Popcorn

    I’ve been wanting to try making matcha popcorn for a long time and finally got around to it when my mom unearthed our old air popper. First I popped half a cup of kernels. Every popcorn maker is different but that is the maximum capacity for mine. As they were popping, I whisked two teaspoons of matcha into four tablespoons of melted butter. It took quite a bit of tossing to get the popcorn evenly coated with the matcha butter mixture.
