    A Year In Tea: 2014

    What a year it has been! 2014 was filled with lots of ups and downs. I finally made the jump to doing what I love, working with tea. My first attempt didn’t end well but I met some great people and learned a lot. Afterwards, I took a position as Assistant Manager at David’s Tea. It wasn’t necessarily the best move for me but bills needed to be paid. Just when I thought that I had things figured out, a fire put me out of work for several weeks.     Just When I Thought That I Had Things Figured Out…

    Just when I thought that things figured out, my life has gone all topsy turvey on me again. I announced just a few weeks ago that I had started working at David’s Tea. Not long after, a nearby fire severely damaged the location that I was working at. Being out of a job for 9 to 12 weeks was just not an option so I had to look for other opportunities.     Onward, Upward and Outward

    Life has been a bit crazy for the last few months. While I’ve managed to keep the blog going I’ve been worried about not being able to give it my all. For those of you who don’t already know, I am no longer the manager at Tea Drunk. I won’t go into the nitty gritty here so let’s just say that I learned a lot. While searching for a new career move, I interviewed with quite a few different tea companies. That was definitely an interesting experience.
