Country of Origin: China
Leaf Appearance: flat, dark green
Ingredients: green tea
Steep time: 3 minutes
Water Temperature: 190 degrees
Preparation Method: glass teapot
Liquor: very pale, yellowish
This tea was sweetly vegetal and nutty but also very subtle. There was a barely there floral aspect that added a nice bit of interest. The liquor was particularly pale, even for a green tea. It had a buttery finish with a clean and light aftertaste. There was slight astringency but not enough to make it bitter. Overall, a very refreshing cup of tea. This was a fairly run of the mill dragon well. It was everything that it should be and there was nothing out of the ordinary. Don’t let that fool you, this would still make a very good daily drinker. My philosophy is that extraordinary teas are for special occasions. Most of the time a good basic cup of tea is all you need and that is what a tea like this offers. I would definitely recommend this tea.

Dragon Well is considered "an every day tea" in China and I myself enjoy Dragon Well by my side through the day!!!
Our Dragon Well is an Organic/Fair Trade version of this popular green tea. I think some of it's popularity is because of its "mellow" taste and fresh / clean finish with a bit of a roasted chesnut aroma.
Thanks so much to Tea For Me Please for their time and comments on this wonderful Chinese Organic tea.
