Exactly five years ago today, I started this blog on whim. I didn’t have a clue what I was doing but I knew that I really loved tea and that I wanted to share that with other people. Since then I’ve learned more about both tea and myself than I ever thought possible. My love of the leaf has opened doors and connected me to friends from all over the world. It has changed my life in more ways than I could possibly count. Rather than rambling on about myself, I just want to take this chance to say thank you.
Thank you to my readers for being the motivation behind this blog every day and for coming on this crazy tea journey with me. Without you there would be no Tea for Me Please. I couldn’t possibly tell you how many times you have made my day over the last five years.
Thank you to my fellow tea bloggers (many of whom I now consider my close friends) for your humor, words of encouragement and support. It means so much to be able to nerd out about tea without having to scare the general population 🙂
Thank you to the tea companies who have kept my teacups full of some of the most amazing teas in the world. All of you have been so generous, patient and kind over the years and there are simply too many to list here.
As always, a life steeped in tea is an ever changing journey. I never could have predicted where it has taken me and I am looking forward to many more years of exploring.
