Friday Roundup: September 27th to October 3rd

The Friday Roundup is a weekly collection of five of my favorite blog posts from around the world. It’s my little way of getting the word out about all of my favorite tea blogs. Is there someone I’m missing? Let me know about it in the comments below!

Adagio Masters – Formosa Ruby 18 Black : Harvest Comparison | 2019 vs 2020

Kimberly from Tea is a Wish Your Heart Makes tasted two harvests of the same tea. It was interesting to hear how they differed and I was surprised that the 2020 version was more mellow. Comparison tastings like this are a great way to improve your tea tasting skills.

Favorites: Fall Teas

I recently discovered a new blog called Humming Tea. This week Mildred shared some of her favorite teas for fall. Pumpkin spice is usually the default so I love that she went with some outside of the box options. Aged white tea is perfect for this time of year.

White Tea Apple Crumble

Nazanin from Tea Thoughts often shares tasty tea-infused recipes. I never thought of soaking apples in tea to give them a different flavor. Yum! I will definitely be bookmarking this recipe for the next time that I go apple picking. Hojicha might just take the fall flavors to another level.

October is Chai Month!

Jasmine from i try chai has declared October as chai month. It’s the perfect time of year to celebrate everyone’s favorite spiced tea. Stay tuned to her blog throughout the month for all of the extra content that she’ll be posting. She set up a merch store recently and I definitely need some chai shirts.

Tea plantations, the old and the new

Angela from Tea with Friends has a knack for digging up awesome tea photos from history’s archives. This week she shared a stereographic image of a tea plantation in Japan. I have seen these types of images before but never knew how to properly view them until I read this post.
