Georgia from Notes on Tea reviewed a trio of oolongs from one of my favorite vendors of Taiwanese teas. It always amazes me how diverse teas can be even when they are from the same region. This flight represents just a small range of what Taiwan has to offer. They all sound delicious but there’s nothing quite like a well done Muzha TGY.
Long before I met Rie from TeaCurious, I was an ardent admirer of her Instagram feed. Her lighting and composition are always on point. My tea sessions are tasty and useful but not necessarily pretty to look at. In this week’s post she offers some really great tips on how to design the space for your tea session.
World of Tea is now the official blog of the American Specialty Tea Alliance but rest assured, the amazing tea content that we’re used to is still coming our way. This week brings an informative guest post about Vietnamese tea from Geoff Hopkins of Hatvala. The list of cultivars and their Vietnamese names was particularly fascinating.
Matcha White Chocolate Popcorn with Rosemary
I love matcha. I love white chocolate. I love popcorn. I love rosemary….I definitely need to try this recipe from Beginning at Bergamot! Sara really outdid herself with this one. As a fellow book worm, the end of her posts is something I always look forward to the end of her posts where she shares what she is reading.
Nothing beats a tea review with a view. Sara from Tea Happiness captured NYC perfectly in her shots of this Da Hong Pao that is on my “to be reviewed” list. The Little Read Cup Tea Co is an oldie but a goodie. I’ve been writing about their tea for years! I love her comparison of the astringency to plum skin. It definitely sounds like I’m in for a treat.
