The Friday Roundup is a weekly collection of five of my favorite blog posts from around the world. It’s my little way of getting the word out about all of my favorite tea blogs. Is there someone I’m missing? Let me know about it in the comments below!
Pu’erh Storage Explainer [Inbetweenisode 212]
James from TeaDB put together an in-depth video on puerh storage. This is a somewhat controversial topic and it can be hard to separate fact from fiction. I set up my first attempt at home puerh storage this year so I found all of this information very useful.
Hojicha Overnight Oats with Almond Milk
Overnight oats have definitely had their moment. This week Daniella from Tea Cachai put a fun tea twist on them by adding powdered hojicha and layers of fresh fruit. I could imagine this being the perfect breakfast for a crisp fall morning.
Pietr from Tea Adventures visited Mei Leaf in London earlier this month. They are arguably the most popular tea company on YouTube. He interviewed Don Mei about how he got started in tea, what tea he is proudest of, and advice for people who are just starting their journey.
Keeping Green Tea in Cold Storage
Marcella from The Tea and Hat Lady contemplated the advantages of cold storing green tea. This should be talked about more because it has the potential to extend the life of delicate teas. I will add the caveat that tea should be kept separately from food to avoid contamination.
CRAFT CHOCOLATE AND TEA PAIRING WITH KEKAO BOX
What does a tea blogger do when you give her a box of craft chocolate? She pairs it with tea of course! Lua Ann from The Cup of Life did exactly that with a tasty selection she received from Kekao Box. My go-to is definitely Yunnan gold so I was happy to see that on the list.
