The Friday Roundup is a weekly collection of five of my favorite blog posts from around the world. It’s my little way of getting the word out about all of my favorite tea blogs. Is there someone I’m missing? Let me know about it in the comments below!
The Global Japanese Tea Association – Japanese Tea Marathon – Day 1 | Kagoshima
I did not have time to participate myself, but I’ve enjoyed following all of the posts about the Japanese Tea Marathon. Kimberly at Tea is a Wish Your Heart Makes has been diligently sharing her thoughts on the teas presented for each day.
A Teapot in Space? Bertrand Russell and His Famous Controversial Teapot
Cassandra at The Tea Deviant wrote a fascinating post about Bertrand Russell’s cosmic teapot. This was covered in a philosophy class that I took years ago, but I totally forgot about it because I had not yet gotten really into tea.
Ricardo from My Japanese Green Tea added to his series where he highlights the many Japanese tea cultivars. I have not yet been able to try this one, but his descriptions of it certainly made me want to. It’s so interesting to learn about the differences between them.
Tea Thoughts: Tea Reviews & Changing Tastes
Eustacia from Eustea Reads revisited an old favorite English Breakfast blend and contemplated how our preferences can change over time. My taste in tea is definitely quite different from when I first started.
Masters Teas’ Huang Shan Mao Feng
Michelle from One More Steep reviewed a special Chinese green tea offering from Masters Teas. I really enjoy how thoroughly she photographs the leaves before and after brewing. My own review of this tea will be coming out soon and our tasting notes are very similar.
