The Friday Roundup is a weekly collection of five of my favorite blog posts from around the world. It’s my little way of getting the word out about all of my favorite tea blogs. Is there someone I’m missing? Let me know about it in the comments below!
A Little Bit About Korean Teaware History
Sara from Tea Happiness recently traveled to South Korea. In this post, she gives us a primer on Korean teaware history. This is something that I definitely wish I knew more about. It must have been wonderful for her to meet potters and speak with them about their craft.
Never Buy the Same Puerh Production Two Years in A Row
Matt of the eponymous MattCha’s Blog wrote about a mistake that many tea drinkers make. A puerh that is very good this year will not be the same the following year. It is tempting to load up if tea you enjoyed isn’t available anymore. His advice to sample first is the best course of action.
Steph from Steph’s Cup of Tea traveled to the Glenburn Estate in Darjeeling. The pictures she shared are absolutely breathtaking. This is a place that I have always dreamed of visiting. Her post makes me want to book a flight tomorrow!
Danielle from Tea & Me reviewed several teas from a new-to-me company. She gives an in-depth analysis of the teas, packaging, and pricing. It is great to see a company highlight that focuses on ethically sourced tea. I also love that they don’t add any flavorings to their teas.
Gabie from Tea End Blog put together a list of her favorite teas from 2019. There is a broad mix of pure teas along with blends and herbals. Her top tea was a lovely Anji Bai Cha from Masters by Adagio Teas. I also had a chance to try this tea and I have to agree.
