Friday Roundup: February 9th – February 15th

The Friday Roundup is a weekly collection of five of my favorite blog posts from around the world. It’s my little way of getting the word out about all of my favorite tea blogs. Is there someone I’m missing? Let me know about it in the comments below!

“Tea is for Everyone” by Chan Sin Yan

Gabie from Tea End blog posted a review of a book that I really enjoyed. Her thoughts pretty much sum up everything that I loved about it. I love that she gives us her favorite chapters. Make sure you check out the video with a shout out to yours truly.

Crimson Lotus Tea 2018 Daydream Sheng Puerh – February 2020 Review

Micah from The Weekend Sessions wrote about one of my favorite sheng puerh teas. Not only does it have an awesome wrapper but its seriously tasty too! I love reading a review of a tea that I have enjoyed so much and seeing the same tasting notes that I experienced.

The History Of English Breakfast Tea

English Breakfast is a pretty standard tea for many of us but do you know how it came to be? This week Sara from Tea Happiness dug into the fascinating history behind this popular blend. I love her historical posts! I’m partial to a good Irish Breakfast myself.

Astringency in Green Tea

Ricardo from My Japanese Green Tea explored the relationship between astringency and green tea. You might be surprised to learn that some antioxidants can cause us to experience astringency. He also offers some great explanations as well as tips on how to avoid it.

On Affiliate Links, Collaborations, Sponsorship, and Making Money as a Blogger

Money is a tricky subject for tea bloggers. We put so much work into what we do but there’s usually very little financial reward. Jenn from Tea Leaves and Tweed wrote about her feelings on the subject and her decision to start using affiliate links on her website.
