Friday Roundup: December 30th – January 5th

There was a blogging emergency and I had to evacuate everything to WordPress yesterday. I’m still missing several months of blog posts and my email was broken for a bit. Hang in there, folks. I’ll get back up and running as soon as I can!

Since I’m on a new platform now, I thought I would test out a new format for the Friday Roundup. Not all blogs can be embedded like this but I’m loving the more visual look. Let me know what you think in the comments below!

Tea Adventures is a brand new blog but they are off to a great start. I love seeing new people joining the wonderful world of tea blogging. It’s a wonderful reminder of when I started Tea for Me Please over 10 years ago!
I am so very proud of and excited for Jee from Oh, How Civilized. She reached an incredible 100,000 monthly pageviews! That is an amazing achievement for any blogger, especially for one who writes about tea. Check out this week’s post to find out how she did it.

How to Grow Tea Pt.1: Growing Camellia Sinensis

Sara from Tea Happiness is a total green thumb so I was not surprised when I saw that she was trying her hand at growing tea. In this blog post she shares how she got started with her seeds and tips for successful germination.
Geoff from Steep Stories turned contemplative as he listed out his musings about 2018. There is a lesson to be had here. It is so very important to be honest with ourselves as writers and content creators. It’s also very OK if puerh isn’t your thing!

Oolong Owl’s 2018 Tea Consumption and Stash Data Report

Char over at Oolong Owl is serious tea organization goals. She keeps a detailed spreadsheet of her tea consumption and the size of her stash. I always look forward to reading her yearly recap and am attempting to do some tracking of my own this year.

My name is Nicole and I love tea...a lot! I have been writing about my love of the leaf since 2008. My work has been featured on World Tea News, The Daily Tea, Tea Journey, and other publications. I am the winner of the 2018 World Tea Award for Best Tea Blog.
