The Friday Roundup is a weekly collection of five of my favorite blog posts from around the world. It’s my little way of getting the word out about all of my favorite tea blogs. Is there someone I’m missing? Let me know about it in the comments below!
About the Steaming Time of Sencha
Ricardo from My Japanese Green Tea shared some great info about the different steaming times used to make sencha. I love that he gave us some tips for telling the steaming level based on the tea’s appearance. I have to say that I am a fan of fukamushi.
Tea Book Review: An Illustrated Modern Reader of The Classic of Tea by Wu Juenong
Eustacia from Eustea Reads reviews an illustrated edition of the Classic of Tea. It’s always interesting reading different versions of classics. The commentary can vary quite a bit. I really liked that she stated her personal opinions in comparison.
Traci, a tea friend from Instagram, recently launched a blog called Tea Enthusiast. She recently shared her first post and I am looking forward to reading many more. Make sure to check out the slides she created to go along with it.
At the Tea Table with Carmen Marshall of Sacred Lotus Love
I’ve always enjoyed Lu Ann’s series At the Tea Table. This week she interviewed the owner of a new-to-me Canadian company. It was fascinating to learn about Carmen’s story and how she designed her tumbler.
Michelle from One More Steep reviewed one of my favorite types of Chinese green teas. Just look at those curly, fuzzy leaves! I always enjoy her thorough reviews, especially the pictures of the brewed tea and unfurled leaves.
