The Friday Roundup is a weekly collection of five of my favorite blog posts from around the world. It’s my little way of getting the word out about all of my favorite tea blogs. Is there someone I’m missing? Let me know about it in the comments below!
I always get excited when I see a new recipe in my feed from Suzanne over at Tea Foodie. This week she posted an earl grey infused torte that is ALMOST too picture-perfect to eat. Although I don’t enjoy drinking teas with bergamot, I love sweets that are flavored with them.
Easy and Healthy Hojicha Bliss Balls
Bliss Balls seem to be all the rage judging my Pinterest recommendations. Daniela from Tea Cachai put a tea twist on this trendy treat with powdered hojicha. These sound super easy to make and I love that they are healthy too. I’ll definitely have to track down some Medjool dates.
Marilyn from Delights of the Heart had the crazy idea to have tea outside of ordinary. Make sure to check out this post for beautiful pictures of an impromptu lakeside tea party. What a special memory to share with a friend! I can’t help ogling the gorgeous blue and white china she used.
CATCHING UP WITH JAMES NORWOOD PRATT AT THE LA TEA FESTIVAL
If you asked everyone in the tea biz who their favorite person is chances are that you’d get the same answer from most of us. Cassandra from Tea Deviant went to the LA Tea Festival and caught up with none other than James Norwood Pratt. The video she included with him is short but sweet.
Yunnan Sourcing & Exploring the Encyclopedic Depths of Puerh
Matt of the eponymous MattCha waxed nostalgic while contemplating what Yunnan Sourcing has meant to tea drinkers like us. I really can’t imagine the puerh scene being what it is if it had not been for Scott’s influence. His reminiscences of browsing their old website are a walk down memory lane.
Thanks for featuring my plum torte blog post in your weekly roundup, Nicole! Earl Grey is so fun to bake with.
You’re welcome! It totally is 🙂
