Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

As a tea writer and educator, I get a lot of questions. If there’s something that you’d like to know, the answer will probably be here. Let me know if there is something that I should add!

What’s the best way to learn about tea?

The absolute best way to learn about tea is by tasting it. The cool thing about tea is that there isn’t really a goal or an endpoint. Drink what you enjoy or that you find interesting, and you’ll learn along the way. My Beginner’s Guide to Tea is also a great way to start!

What is your favorite tea?

This an impossible question because I love them all! I usually cheat and say oolong since it’s the most diverse category. The tea that will always hold a special place in my heart is Huang Zhi Xiang. It was one of the first teas that I really fell in love with.

How long have you been writing about tea?

Almost 15 years! I started my blog on October 6th, 2008. You can read more about my tea journey on my About Me page.

Do you offer tea tastings or classes?

Yes! I offer tea tastings and classes in the NYC/NJ area as well as virtually. If you’d like to know more, please fill out my contact form, and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.

Are you available for speaking engagements?

Yes! I love sharing my passion for tea with audiences of all kinds. If you would like to book me as a speaker, please use my contact form. I’ve spoken previously at World Tea Expo, Nomad Tea Festival, and Chicago Tea Festival.

Can I send you my product for review?

It depends on the product, but I’ll most likely be interested if it’s related to tea. Take at my review policy to see if it will be a good fit. If we’re good to go, fill out my contact form.

Do you offer advertising or sponsored posts?

Yes! Please fill out my contact form, and I’ll let you know what packages are available.
