Boston Tea Company is a fellow New Jersey native so I’m always excited to give their teas a try. Their website describes this blend in the most perfect way I could imagine: “Let the the luscious scents of this soft-smelling blend rock you gently in your chair on a cool summer’s night in Georgia.”. It’s as though they read my mind (and my taste buds). The taste of this tea was earthy and full of peach flavor. The base oolong had a sweet, raisin-like quality that made it the perfect partner for the apple and peach. Although the apple wasn’t very discernible in the taste, it did add a pleasant crispness. Marigold flowers don’t contribute much as far as taste but they sure do look pretty. Each sip brought back memories of treasured vacations to Savannah. The flavoring was strong but not overdone or artificial tasting. No sweetener at all is necessary, even for the biggest sweet tooth. I cannot wait to try this tea on ice.
