Lu Ann at The Cup of Life shared a tea-infused version of the popular What's In My Bag" post that I often see on lifestyle blogs. We've got a lot of things in common but I will definitely have to check out the black tea mascara! I'm inspired to do my own version of this so keep an eye out for that on the blog soon.
Char at Oolong Owl reviewed a white tea this week that I was really intrigued by. I've seen plenty of compressed white but this one was stuffed into bamboo, adding a whole other level of complexity. Her tasting notes really sounded like this one is right up my alley. I got a good chuckle at her mentioning that this could double as a weapon.
Marilyn at Delights of the Heart has a small collection of beautiful tea plants in her backyard. This week she shared her methods for harvesting and processing the leaves. I've tried my hand at both growing tea and processing it but neither attempt was super successful. Hopefully, I'll be able to try it again in the future if I ever have a backyard.
Alexis at teaspoons&petals shared an excellent interview with Ippodo Tea on the care and keeping of chasens. Mine is long overdue for replacement so these are tips that I will definitely be keeping in mind. The insights about the number of tines are especially helpful as I'm never sure exactly which kind I should get.
I recently discovered a fellow blogger and YouTuber named Megan who is based in Scotland. This week she reviewed a Scottish grown white tea that I have really enjoyed in the past. She just started posting video tea reviews that are super informative. Her blog, Tasting Teas, is also just getting started but is definitely worth subscribing to.
