+Argo Tea is known for their trendy cafes and flavored drinks but they also make some rather good quality loose leaf tea. This particular one is a basic black tea from Nilgiri, a tea growing district in Southern India. I was really surprised at how much I enjoyed it. The taste was rich and earthy with a gentle but brisk finish. It was very aromatic which always makes for a better experience. It is that aroma that is the reason why I love Indian black teas. There really is nothing else like it. Milk and sugar are not necessary at all. On a cold and snowy winter day, this tea really hit the spot. It's no wonder that I'm such a fan of this tea because it is the base for one of my guilty pleasures, Argo's Chocolate Mint. It is incredibly inexpensive compared to most other teas of this quality. You can't beat $10 for 3.5oz. As I always say, the glass jar looks great but should be kept in a dark place in order to keep your tea as fresh as possible.
