I received a packet of this tea at the Fancy Food Show when I chatted with one of the co-owners of Teapigs. This herbal infusion was lemony and sweet with a mild kick. The ginger gave it a warming affect that was very comforting. I’m generally not a fan of a liquorice root but its sweetness cut the bitterness of the ginger so it worked well here. A touch of agave or honey might be nice, but adding dairy would not be recommended. The “tea temple” was filled with a considerably large amount of leaves. My throat was sore when I reviewed this and it helped to soothe it for a little while. If you are in need of a caffeine free pick me up, this one would be a very good choice. I thought it was interesting that Teapigs included a notice that this tea cannot be shipped to Australia in the product description. I feel bad for my Aussie friends but upfront honesty is always appreciated.
