Octavia Tea Blueberry Green

Liquor: odd reddish green

I've been on a big berry flavored tea kick lately. It seems like something that's more appropriate for warmer weather months but needless to say, I was excited to give this one a try. The liquor was an unusual color. The closest that I can come to describing it is reddish green. I think the blueberries had something to do with that. The taste was sweet, vegetal and fruity with just the right amount of blueberry flavor. It had a pleasant tartness but wasn't bitter at all. I really enjoyed that I was still able to taste the base sencha underneath everything else. The stevia made me somewhat cautious but it didn't have the terrible aftertaste that I hate so much. This blend is sweet enough as is so you won't need to add anything to it. It would definitely be an excellent choice for iced tea though! This is the second tea that I've tried from Octavia Tea and so far I've really enjoyed them.
