It's rare that I drink herbal teas but I'm a sucker for peppermint and sometimes I am in need of a late night sip before bed. The taste of this particular selection from +teapigs was incredibly clean and pure. It was vegetal and wonderfully minty without being bitter or medicinal. Each sip was a like a breath of fresh air with a cooling, sweet aftertaste. I was impressed with quantity of leaves in the tea temple. It was practically bursting at the seams after steeping. This would make a great breath freshener in a pinch. It was so minty cool that I felt like I had just brushed my teeth. Peppermint always does the trick for me with tummy troubles, especially after a large greasy meal. I love that Teapigs listed the growing region on their site as this is information that is not often provided for herbal teas. Due to amount of whole leaves this tea was quite strong compared to most peppermint teas out there. I recommend steeping it for no more than three minutes or it may become too powerful.
