Legends of the Leaf: Margaret's Hope

Although not exactly a legend, the story of how Margaret's Hope got its name always comes to my mind whenever I am sipping a cup of this famous estate's tea. Did you know that once upon a time, Margaret's Hope was called Bara Rington? The owner of the plantation, Mr. Cruikshank, had a daughter named Margaret and by all accounts he loved her very much. Some stories refer to him as Mr. Bagdon but Cruikshank seems to be the general consensus. The tea plantation was one of young Margaret's favorite places and she vowed to return. Sadly she fell ill on a return trip to England and died soon afterwards. Her grieving father renamed the plantation Margaret's Hope in her memory. Rumor has it that her ghost still wanders the bungalows of the garden.

I did a ton of searching but wasn't able to find any pictures of the Cruikshank family or the tea plantation of yore. If anyone has any leads, let me know in the comments!
