The Devotea White Nights

Water Temperature: 180 degrees

I first enjoyed this tea at A Gift of Tea's Spring White Tea. I'm not usually a fan of flavored white teas but it really struck a chord with me. The taste was delicate and refreshing with an almost creamy finish. The white tea base was vegetal and somewhat floral while the peppermint provided a cooling aftertaste. Lemongrass and lemon myrtle added a hint of citrus zing. I have a feeling that this would be a really great iced tea. +The Devotea's blends are always artfully balanced and White Nights was no exception. I would not recommend adding a sweetener of any kind because it would all but cover up the taste of the tea. I love that The Devotea's site lists suggested food pairings for the their teas. The downside is that I am now craving chocolate to go with my tea.

You can find out more about this tea here.

I'm testing out publishing twice daily for the next few weeks. Please don't be afraid to let me know what you think!
