The aroma of this tea hit me like a bouquet of roses as soon as I opened the canister. Even my non-tea crazy family took notice. I had a brief moment of hesitation, worried that it would be liquid perfume. Thankfully the taste was wonderfully delicate and floral yet vegetal enough to be what I would consider full bodied. It had a sweet lingering finish that I really enjoyed. Overall it was a complex and well balanced cup of tea. Although it contained flavoring, it did not come across as overdone or artificial. If you are a fan of floral teas like jasmine or osmanthus, you would probably love this blend. I think that it would make an excellent iced tea, perfect for the last few days of summer. This is the second tea that I’ve reviewed from Chai Diaries and so far I’ve been very impressed.
