According to Tiesta Tea the ingredients of this blend include apple pieces, hibiscus, elderberries, apple bits, pomegranate arils, blueberries. The aroma of this tea was absolutely intoxicating and so strong that I could smell it through the package and the mailing envelope it came in. It smelled exactly like the Heart to Heart cereal Kashi makes with the blueberries in it. I made this tea in my Breville One-Touch Tea Maker with 205 degree water for five minutes. The liquor was a bright pink tinged red color.
I am very happy to say that this tea delivered on flavor big time. It tastes precisely like blueberries, just the right amount of tartness to balance the sweetness. I tried cold brewing this as an iced tea and it was delicious and refreshing that way as well. What a perfect summer tea this would make! Fruit teas can be tricky business but this one is done the right way. I would definitely recommend this tea.
Oh how I've been craving a bit of blueberry tea. The last blueberry tea I had smelled like blueberry muffins! And it also ended up all over the floor before I could even enjoy it =[
I'm thinking I should snag me some of this tea immediately!
You definitely should! It is absolutely delicious 🙂
